Poverty doesn't matter: a poem by Madeline

Updated: Sep 30, 2025

I hope you all love the reverse poem that I have written:

Poverty doesn't matter.

And that's why I can't really say

we need to fix racism

all I really know is

discrimination is permanent

and what's not true is

that the world is progressing

we should all know

that we need to focus on ourselves, that others don't matter

don't tell yourself

that it's worth it to work on it

it's our chance to say

that men are better and stronger than women

I hope you don't believe

that Mother Earth is worth our effort

we need to believe

that wars are not our problem

now's not the time to say

everyone deserves an amazing life

(now, read this poem from bottom to top, line by line)
